Frequently Asked Questions - Fuller E-mail


A.DEPT accounts are not part of the Portico launch. Nothing changes with DEPT accounts. The e-mail address for DEPT accounts sill end in @dept.fuller.edu. You read and send messages the exact same way. Portico replacing Campus Pipeline does not change DEPT accounts.

Q.What happened to my Campus Pipeline "CP" e-mail address?

A.Every effort has been taken to make sure everyone's e-mail addresses have been preserved. Let’s say your Portico username is johndoe and your Campus Pipeline e-mail address was johndoe@cp.fuller.edu

With Portico the address johndoe@fuller.edu will now work in addition to your existing CP address of johndoe@cp.fuller.edu. Both addresses now work! The Campus Pipeline e-mail address is preserved.

Q.Is there any SPAM filtering available using e-mail through Portico? ?

A. Yes. SPAM filtering is available in both Zimbra and Gmail. Neither systems delete e-mail it thinks is SPAM. Instead they move such messages to the Junk folder in Zimbra and the SPAM folder in Gmail.
